Broadweavers Masterclass the winners
Each year, the Broadweavers come to judge samples of our work. This year the brief was to make a bag. The bag had to display either a dying technique or handspun yarn, knitted or woven. All of thework was excellent and the judges had a hard time choosing.
Here are the Prize winners

First Prize - Jean Hughes
Cotton bag dyed with fibre reactive dyes using marbling technique. Crazy patchwork embroidered with random dyed embroidery cotton. Decorated with bugle beads and lined with tear drop cotton

Second Prize - Pat Hall
Domino knitted then machine felted bag using mixed fleece, natural and acid dyed.

Third Prize - Celia Bishell
Patchwork knitted bag using dark brown Jacobs, Light Brown Manx Loughton, 50% wool 50% dog fur dyed with Dylon Hot water dyes. Handles made using weaving sticks
